Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez’s divorce might be one of the most highly publicized splits in recent memory but the former couple have still managed to keep the ins and outs of their breakup relatively secret. And it looks like that is not going change anytime soon thanks to a detail in their divorce agreement.

On October 6, it was reported that Grande, 30, and Gomez, 28, finalized their divorce a little over two weeks after filing. They pair reportedly managed to avoid any acrimonious back-and-forth by working out the terms of their divorce before taking things to the courts and by staying true to their prenup.

If Gomez and Grande’s tame and speedy divorce wasn’t already a sign that these two have no intention of dragging one another through the mud, a key detail in the settlement also ensures that no public name-calling will happen anytime soon.

According to Radar Online, the divorce agreement has a strict confidentiality provision that reads, “Without the prior written consent of the other party, neither party shall disclose, intentionally publish, cause to be published or provide information or documentation to any other individual or entity relating to the publication or dissemination of any document, diary, memoir, letter, story, photograph, interview, article, essay, description or depiction of any kind whatsoever, whether fictionalized or not, which” either talks about their prenup or marriage.

In simple terms, we won’t be getting any kind of tell-all from either of these two about their relationship anytime soon. The deal also extends to speaking negatively about one another or about each other’s family.

The “Thank U Next” singer and the real estate agent, who met in 2020 and married the following year, also agreed not to, “release, disclosure or publication of any photograph (and related negatives), tape, film or like embodiments in all forms whether now or hereafter created or other record or recording of any aspect of any activity in or about any home, office or other property owned.”

Gomez and Grande’s split was first made public in July when the singer was spotted without her wedding ring while attending Wimbledon. At the time, it was reported that the exes had separated amicably in early 2023 after having problems for months during Grande’s time filming Wicked in London while Gomez remained in Los Angeles.

However, cheating allegations soon surfaced after it was revealed that Grande was dating her married co-star Ethan Slater, who has since filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay.

Sources close to the new couple insist that there was no overlap between their burgeoning romance and their respective marriages. However other sources allege that Grande and Slater, 31, carried on a very indiscreet affair during filming. “They were seen being all over each other while he was still supposedly happily married to Lilly,” a source revealed. “They were seen making out at a pub in Hampstead, and they were all over each other at Michelle Yeoh’s Oscar party [in March].”

Slater and Grande appear to still be going strong after being photographed on a date together recently and, according to reports, have even moved in together in her New York apartment. Gomez also looks to be moving on from Grande as he was spotted making out with another famous star recently.
