'Desus & Mero' is the Late-Night Show You've Been Missing

Tired of the same suit-wearing late-night hosts? Viceland has you covered with Desus & Mero. Desus Nice and The Kid Mero have developed their popular podcast into a late-night show that’s a little rough around the edges.

Although they don’t have a traditional monologue, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero do crack jokes about current events. On Tuesday’s episode, they traded jokes about Donald Trump’s alleged use of prostitutes in Russia.

They also tackled hip-hop culture, making fun of Wycleaf Jean’s ill-advised release of a song on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Nice said, “Wyclef is missing the guy in his crew that’s like, ‘No, this is a terrible idea.'”

Though the show doesn’t draw huge celebrities as guests, it did include a segment in which they started beef with Ray Romano, saying he had a “punchable face” and that he looked like a “failed cop.” Romano might want to stick to more traditional late-night shows.

Desus & Mero airs Monday – Thursday at 11 p.m. on Viceland.
