From the Bride... The saying goes, if you love someone, travel with them, and if you still love them after, marry them. Experiencing new cultures is something that has bonded the two of us together. Shervin is of Persian decent and I am half Chinese and Caucasian. Experiencing different cultures is at the core of our romance. I’ve never had a better travel partner and our relationship really blossoms with the smell of adventure.Having a destination wedding was a no brainer for us. The writer Gore Vidal wrote “Twenty five years ago I was asked by an American magazine what was the most beautiful place that I had ever seen in all my travels and I said the view from the belvedere of the Villa Cimbrone on a bright winter’s day when the sky and the sea were each so vividly blue that it was not possible to tell one from the other.” Villa Cimbrone is pure magic and when standing on the Belvedere, you are instantly pulled into a dream like state where the sky meets the sea.Every part of the planning seemed to fall into place. When I inquired with Sandra Åberg Photography, I was attracted to her use of light. We connected instantly and we were lucky to have her lead us through a meditation during our first look. This really helped to ground and bring us both into the present moment. I felt my bridal nerves subside after, and I was able to enjoy the rest of the wedding.
