In downtown Delray Beach, September belongs to hyper-local dining deals. The annual Downtown Delray Beach Restaurant Month is in full swing, offering nicely priced menus and other treats at some of the city’s finest restaurants.

Organized by Delray’s Downtown Development Authority, Restaurant Month, which runs through Sept. 30, offers dozens of opportunities to explore a dining district that pops with new options, variety and destination status. Nearly 40 restaurants and other food-related businesses are taking part in the promotion’s eighth year.

Here’s where to find the eight most tempting dinner deals of the month.

The charming, Lebanese-inspired bistro has a terrific, three-course menu for dine-in customers this month.

What’s to eat: You choose two mezze dishes (such as Lebanese baba ghanouj, moussaka and falafel) and one entree (such as chicken shish taouk and kafta kebab). For dessert, there’s assorted baklava.

Price: $45 per person; add $20 for Lebanese wine pairing.

This Tex-Mex restaurant, which opened on the Intracoastal Waterway on June 20, offers a special three-course menu this month.

What’s to eat: The various starter options include “piña colada” ceviche with seared pineapple and citrus-infused tequila. Main plate options include a surf-and-turf chimichanga and a shrimp-topped salmon with fixings. For dessert, there are churros and other sweets.

Located at The Seagate resort, the coastal-inspired Atlantic Grille is serving a fine dinner prix-fixe from Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to closing time.

What’s to eat: The three-course menu offers appetizer options (including crispy calamari with bravas sauce and garlic aioli) and various main-plate options (including Veracruz-style branzino and Argentinian-inspired steak frites). For dessert, there's a hazelnut chocolate mousse bar with gianduja crunch, dark-chocolate mousse, toasted hazelnuts and candied cocoa nibs as well as a key lime tart.

Popular for its self-pour wine system that boasts more than 200 wines, The Wine Room is doing a four-course Restaurant Month dinner menu.

What’s to eat: It starts with cheese and charcuterie, then continues with a second appetizer (such as Angry Shrimp with ‘nduja and roasted peppers. There are four main plate options (including a Mangalitsa double-cut pork chop with brussels sprout hash and warm bacon vinaigrette). Dessert options include a butter toffee cake with vanilla ice cream, salted caramel and candied peanuts.

Price: $65 per person; add $20 for a three-glass wine pairing; no sharing plates.

This intimate Pineapple Grove restaurant offers a three-course menu that includes a glass of wine or specialty cocktail this month. The prix-fixe deal is available only Tuesdays through Thursdays.

What’s to eat: Appetizers include risotto verde with green onion, maitake mushrooms and pesto. Main course options include local yellowtail snapper with bottarga beurre blanc or spicy rigatoni alla vodka. For dessert, there’s chocolate budino with banana caramel and hazelnut praline, or Heath Bar bread pudding with vanilla ice cream.

This neighborhood mainstay serves some of the tastiest fish and seafood dishes on Atlantic Avenue. This month, it is serving a three-course dinner menu with wine.

What’s to eat: Starter options include seafood chowder. Main plate options include pan-seared snapper. For dessert, there’s key lime pie or bread pudding.

A go-to, oceanfront restaurant, Caffe Luna Rosa is serving a nice-price, three-course dinner menu this month from Sundays through Thursdays.

What’s to eat: Appetizers include house-made meatballs with ricotta. Entrees include linguine with garlicky clam sauce. For dessert, there’s New York cheesecake or chocolate-chip cannoli.
