Despicable Me 4: New Trailer Features Mischievous Minions

Minion HQ is in disarray in the new trailer for Despicable Me 4 when five minions find themselves in trouble as they become experiments of "super serum designed to transform [them] into cutting edge agents".

Described as "The Mega Minions", the gang undergo a physical transformation, which results in some brand new powers they are learning to master without causing too much mischief.

However (in typical minion fashion) chaos ensues, and the minions find themselves in all sorts of situations.

Despicable Me 4 hits theaters this summer on July 5 and introduces us to a new member of Gru's growing family: Gru Jr. However, Gru Jr. is intent on tormenting his dad.

On top of navigating that, Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend, Valentina, and the family are forced to go on the run.

This new trailer gives us more minion action than the first one, which came out in January and focuses more on Gru and Gru Jr. and the danger facing his family.

Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Pierre Coffin, Joey King, Sofia Vergara, Stephen Colbert, Miranda Cosgrove, Chloe Fineman, Steve Coogan, Chris Renaud, Dana Gaier and Madison Polan make up the voice cast of the first Despicable Me movie in seven years with the two-time Oscar-nominee Chris Renaud returning to direct.
