Disney+ is taking viewers down the rabbit hole this summer. The streamer has announced a July 12 release date for Descendants: The Rise of Red, the next installment in Disney’s villain-kid franchise.

Kylie Cantrall (Gabby Duran & the Unsittables) stars as Red, the rebellious daughter of Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts, alongside Malia Baker (The Baby-Sitters Club) as Chloe, the perfectionist daughter of Cinderella. When the Queen of Hearts attempts to overthrow Auradon, the polar-opposite roommates become reluctant allies, traveling back in time “to undo the traumatic event that set Red’s mother down her villainous path,” per Disney’s official synopsis.
