It's Derrick, bitch.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for RuPaul's Drag Race season 16.

Unlike Derrick Barry's memories of Stonewall, nobody was killed on the RuPaul's Drag Race season 16 premiere, but we still absolutely died over the season 8 and All Stars 5 queen's surprise return to the Main Stage on Friday's episode.

The Las Vegas-based Britney Spears impersonator made her first appearance on the runway since 2020's AS5, appearing in front of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and special guest judge Charlize Theron to emcee the MTV's Spring Break-themed talent show.

Derrick kicked off the event in high style, getting as far away from "pig in a wig" as possible, as she hit the runway in a bejeweled blue outfit clearly inspired by Spears' various denim looks over the years — such as the pop star's iconic 2001 American Music Awards outfit and 2002 New York Fashion Week look.

"Hi guys! It's Britney, bitch! Are y'all ready to see some talent?" Derrick said at the top of the show, before introducing each of the seven contestants — Amanda Tori Meating, Dawn, Mirage, Morphine Love Dion, Q, Sapphira Cristál, and Xunami Muse — who performed a variety of lip-sync dance numbers, comedy acts, and even a round of live opera singing.

Derrick returned at the end of the segment to finish the throwback vibe of the episode, bidding the queens farewell as she sashayed back in time with another reference to the pop culture era of the early aughts.

"Another awesome Spring Break has come to an end!" Derrick said. "Stay tuned for an all-new episode of Pimp My Drag Mom. Bye, y'all!"

In addition to her appearances on RuPaul's Drag Race as a competitor, Derrick also made a cameo as a dead body on season 11, before joining the Vegas Revue series cast of RuGirl alums who performed as part of the inaugural RuPaul's Drag Race Live! residency show; she will again return to the franchise as part of the upcoming series RuPaul's Drag Race Live Untucked, which is also centered around the Vegas stage production.

RuPaul's Drag Race season 16 continues Friday at 8 p.m. on MTV. Stay tuned to EW's Quick Drag podcast (below) throughout the season for news updates, interviews with eliminated queens, and full-episode recaps.
