The former Counting On star, 29, posed in a series of workout outfits earlier this week — including fitted tops, leggings and skirts — and shared the looks with her Instagram followers.

Among the outpouring of comments was one from her husband, Derick Dillard, who left a flirty affirmation on the post.

"Lookin' hot baby!" he wrote alongside the kissy face and fire emoji.

Jill replied, "@DerickDillard Aww. You da best!" and also added a series of emoji, including kissy faces and pink hearts.

The couple wed in June 2014 and share two sons: Israel David, 5, and Samuel Scott, 3.

Though Jill, the second oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, was raised in a conservative home — as seen on the now-canceled TLC series 19 Kids and Counting — she and Derick, 31, have been open in recent years about more personal topics, including going to therapy, using birth control and sex.

In June 2019, Jill opened up about her intimate life in a blog post on the Dillard Family website, in the hopes of encouraging couples not to let the "fire in your marriage" die.

She wrote that it is imperative to have sex often, writing, "you both need this time together regularly (3-4 times a week is a good start)."

"When you may not be able to actually have intercourse for a period of time or for health issues, find other ways to have fun and be intimate," Jill explained.

Said the TLC alumna, "Guard against fulfilling sexual desires alone. Be open with your spouse about your desires and change things up to keep it exciting!"

The mother of two further suggested that getting "new lingerie (online is an easy way to buy!) as a surprise gift for birthdays, holidays, vacations or whenever."

She also admitted that a fading intimacy is common: "I do realize that sometimes things may change slightly due to life changes (e.g. kids, work schedules, etc.), one thing I think we need to recognize is that the fire in your marriage doesn't have to die out! But like a fire, sometimes, and more so during some seasons than others, you need to be intentional, proactive and work hard to keep the fire going."

Two months later, Derick decided to share his own thoughts on the topic from a male standpoint.

Writing on the family blog in a post called "Hot Love: How to Love Your Wife Like You Mean It," Derick explained that fans had specifically requested his tips for being a better husband after Jill's post was so well received.

As he opened up about their marriage, Derick emphasized the importance of keeping the fire alive, especially after you've moved out of the "newlywed phase," and suggested having "lots of good sex" in order to do this.

"You both need this time together regularly (5-6 times (or more) a week is a good start)," he wrote.
