He added that the Ministry of Communities and Territorial Development and the Ministry of Infrastructure are still being reorganized into a new unified Ministry of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
"We wanted to preserve institutional memory while making personnel decisions, but not these kind," Kubrakov said.
He initiated an inspection of all existing projects of the Ministry of Commnities, in particular those with budget or international funding, as well as technical assistance projects.
On Jan. 21, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) reported that Lozynskyi had been detained on suspicion of accepting bribes and kickbacks, as well as embezzlement of government funds.
Lozynskyi is also suspected of being a member of an organized criminal group.
