Denver Broncos Tap WME/IMG to Help Secure Naming Rights for New Stadium

WME/IMG has been appointed by the Denver Broncos to secure a new naming rights partner for their stadium.

The deal follows the recently-announced partnership between WME/IMG and Hickory Street Capital to develop year-round programming and seek a potential naming rights partner for the plaza outside Wrigley Field.

This appointment by the Broncos is WME/IMG’s first NFL stadium naming rights deal.

“WME/IMG’s extensive network throughout the sports and entertainment industry will serve as a tremendous resource for our organization in this very important process,” Broncos President and CEO Joe Ellis said. “Naming rights are critical to improving our stadium and the overall fan experience. Teaming up with WME/IMG will help us find the right partner that understands the values of our organization and this community.”

Sean Barror, who joined WME/IMG in late 2015, will be leading the team in charge of securing the naming rights. The company has continued to grow its business when it comes to naming rights having hired a handful of people in the past year to the department.

WME/IMG’s global partnerships team will help to spearhead the project.
