NBA Hall-of-Famer Dennis Rodman visited Undeniable With Joe Buck where he opened up about a moment in April of 1993 when he was found in his car outside The Palace of Auburn Hills with a gun on his lap.
Rodman had been struggling with depression over the departure of Detroit Pistons head coach Chuck Daly, as well as some personal family issues. In fact Rodman boycotted the first half of the season because he felt so angry and lost.
In a moment of despair Rodman considered taking his life but the song "Black" from Pearl Jam helped keep him from pulling the trigger. Now friends, Rodman had met Eddie Vedder in a chance encounter at The Palace and thankfully the lead singer suggested Rodman check out their music.
Rodman did just that saying, "I went and got their album, and I played it every day, every day, every day...So, I think that saved my life."
