My Demon Poster Previews Song Kang & Kim Yoo Jung’s New K-Drama

Starring Song Kang and Kim Yoo-Jung, upcoming SBS drama My Demon is already garnering significant attention before its release. The network released the K-drama’s official poster on Friday, October 20, 2023, featuring the lead stars gazing at each other. The drama will premiere on November 24, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS.
Fantasy rom-com K-drama My Demon follows the story of chaebol heiress Do Do-Hee (Kim Yoo-Jung) and demon Jung Gu-Won (Song Kang). Do Do-Hee is the heiress of the Mirae Group. In a strange twist of fate, she falls in love with the demon Jung Gu-Won, who spends his life making deals with humans and holding their souls as collateral. However, when the demon loses his powers, the duo enters a contract marriage.

As of this writing, SBS’ newly released poster of My Demon has already gained over 24K likes and over 290 comments on their Instagram post. Do Do-Hee is seen lying on a flower bed filled with white and pink chrysanthemums as she looks at the demon Jung Gu-Won (Song Kang). The latter is positioned on the top of the opposite end of the poster.
Gu-Won holds Do-Hee’s hand, which has a cross tattoo on her wrist, symbolizing the polarization between God and the demon. Both Do-Hee and Gu-Won are seen staring intently at each other, as if they are communicating with their eyes. The background is lighter to compliment the characters’ dark outfits, with flower petals falling in a faded yet distinctive manner.
The caption in the poster reads, “More unfamiliar and suspicious than anyone else… My salvation,” indicating that albeit being a demon, Gu-Won’s existence might be a blessing in disguise for Do-Hee.
The production team also pitched in on what viewers can expect from the K-drama. According to Soompi, they said, “A dangerous contract marriage with a charming demon will make a fantasy rom-com of another level. Please look forward to the intense chemistry and synergy between Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang, who will make [viewers’] dopamine explode with romance.”
My Demon release date, cast, & episodes
My Demon will air on November 24, 2023, on SBS. The K-drama will also be available to stream on Netflix. There has been no update on the total number of episodes. After the series premiere on November 24, the K-drama will air subsequent episodes on Fridays and Saturdays, documenting the human-demon love story.
SBS recently released the complete cast of My Demon, and there are some notable stars accompanying the lead couple. These include Lee Sang-Yi, Lee Yoon-Ji, Kim Hae-Sook, Jo Hye-Joo, Kim Tae-Hoon, Jo Yun-Hee, Kang Seung-Ho, Seo Jung-Yeon, and Heo Jung-Do. The drama is helmed by director Kim Jang-Han.
