Singer and actress Demi Lovato has a close bond with her family.

The Camp Rock actress has two older sisters, Amber and Dallas Lovato, and one younger sister, Madison De La Garza. Demi's father, Patrick Lovato, welcomed Amber during a previous marriage. Dallas was born in 1988 to Patrick and Dianna De La Garza — four years before the two would welcome Demi. After Patrick and Dianna split, Dianna wed Eddie De La Garza, and the pair welcomed Madison in 2001.

Both Dallas and Madison followed in Demi's acting footsteps, with Dallas appearing on the Disney Channel and Madison starring in the hit drama Desperate Housewives. The siblings were also featured in Demi's 2021 docuseries Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil.

In 2021, Dallas discussed the close bond that the siblings have.

“We are such a close family and really, really, really supportive,” she said during an interview with The Grizzly Podcast. “That’s one thing that I can say that I thank God for every single day about my family is the fact that we are some of the toughest people.”

Here's everything to know about Demi Lovato's three sisters.

Like Demi, Dallas also had roles acting on the Disney Channel as a teenager and appeared in the pilot episode for Wizards of Waverly Place and Sonny with a Chance. Her other acting credits include the horror movie The Helpers and the Spanish animated movie Snowflake, the White Gorilla.

Following in Demi's footsteps, Madison also started her career as a child actress. She famously played Eva Longoria’s daughter, Juanita Solis, on Desperate Housewives from 2008 to 2012.

However, over a decade after the series ended, Madison opened up about her struggles while starring on the show, including the eating disorder she developed at a very young age.

"The reactions that I got to my character on Desperate Housewives, it was just shocking," Madison said on the Heart of What Matters podcast in 2023. "A lot of people came at it in a way that they were 'concerned for my health.' And I personally believe that that's just not true, that that was a cover-up so that they could just judge a 6-year-old."

She recalled sneaking onto a computer to spend “hours and hours” reading some of the cruel comments left about her on social media and in articles.

"I would just spend a crazy amount of time reading through these comments, and most all of them were just atrocious,” she explained.

She added, "Reading comments like that definitely affected my mental health and ultimately played into me developing an eating disorder at a very young age."

In 2013, the "Confident" singer publicly revealed that they had another older sister during a radio show appearance.

“[Amber is] my half-sister, but I talked to her for the very first time in my life around when I turned 20,” Demi said.

“I asked her, I said, ‘Why haven’t you ever contacted me?’ ” the "Heart Attack" singer continued. “She said, ‘Well, I never wanted you to think I wanted anything from you. So I’ve just been kind of waiting to see if you wanted a relationship.’ I thought that was so incredible.”

Dallas is an acting and vocal coach

According to Dallas' Instagram biography, Dallas works as an acting and vocal coach.

She also “makes pretty things” and often shows her colorful creations across her Instagram and TikTok accounts. In April 2023, she showed off a tie-dyed T-shirt with “MANIAC” written across the front in graffiti-style lettering.

Demi, Dallas and Madison have all been vocal about their mental health and sobriety journeys with fans over the years — and have had the support of each other through it all.

In 2018, Demi suffered a near-fatal drug overdose, which she later discussed in her 2021 docuseries Dancing with the Devil. Nearly a month following Demi's hospitalization, Madison showed support for her older sister on Instagram, writing, "today could have been one of the worst days of my life, but instead i get to spend it thanking God, the incredible doctors, demi's team, and everyone across the world who offered their support - without all of these people i wouldn't have my big sister anymore."

Demi has also been there for Dallas and Madison as they've opened up about their own struggles. In March 2021, Dallas shared her feelings of anxiety with her 60,000 Instagram followers. In response, Demi left a heartfelt comment on her sister’s post, writing, “Proud of you!” Dallas commented back, “Thank you for being her for me especially now... I’m so happy I have you as my sister AND FRIEND.”

And when Madison spoke about her decision to get sober at 20 years old, she told E! News that Demi has “been an example for me. Now I get to be that example for other people, and I could not be happier. I'm grateful for that."

The actress, who was 248 days sober at the time of the interview, said that she decided to embark on her “journey of recovery” after substances began to alter her personal relationships.

“I went through a lot of things last year that made me want to stay in bed, made me want to hide from the world,” she explained. “When I realized it started to affect my relationship with not only my friends, but specifically my relationship with my mom, that's when I knew I had to make a change."

Demi and Dallas appeared together in Demi’s 2021 documentary series Unidentified with Demi Lovato. Alongside their friends and some celebrity guest stars, the two embarked on a road trip to find evidence of extraterrestrial life.

“Before this experience I was definitely open minded to UFOs and extraterrestrials,” Dallas told MTV during a promotional interview. “I had a lot of experience with the paranormal so when they invited me on board I was like, ‘Cool, let’s go!' “
