Demi Lovato, Kevin Hart, and Chris Pratt Are the Slimiest Stars at Kids’ Choice Awards
Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards covered the University of Southern California’s Galen Center in green slime Saturday night. Stars like Demi Lovato, Kevin Hart, and Chris Pratt all walked away from the event covered in slime. On the bright side, they’re all ready for St. Patrick’s Day this week.
Kevin Hart won multiple awards, including Favorite Villain for his role as Snowball in The Secret Life of Pets. While accepting his awards, Kevin taunted the slime operators after they missed him with slime a couple times. Kevin said, “I have waited my whole life, my whole life to get slimed, and the one time y’all got to get it right, you get it wrong. It’s cause you’re stupid!” But it was just a matter of time before they got it right. Suddenly, slime exploded up from the floor right in front of Kevin, covering him in slime.
While everyone else turned green, Demi Lovato helped Game Shakers star Madisyn Shipman turn Smurf blue and find her Smurf purpose. Demi apparently didn’t see it coming when Madisyn said she was “obviously Slimey Smurf” and slimed Demi from every angle.
Chris Pratt got slimed by his little buddy Groot, while Gwen Stefani was able to avoid the slime by showing up in a slime couture outfit. John Cena got slimed the worst when he ended the show. But he seemed to enjoy every minute of it, yelling, “Thank you Nickelodeon! Thank you Kids’ Choice! Tonight was incredible! I had the time of my life!”
