Demi Lovato's Fans Are Worried About Her Sobriety

Perez Hilton Says Lovato Has Relapsed

The "Perez Hilton Podcast" is making claims that singer Demi Lovato is struggling with her sobriety.

Hilton reportedly said he had a “a friend who has a friend who works at an establishment” in Los Angeles, who told him that Lovato and Austin G. Wilson, supposedly her new boyfriend, were at that establishment.

So Far, Just Rumors

Hilton says the friend of a friend told him the two were “ordering alcoholic drinks and drinking them. Specifically, she was drinking margaritas.”

Hilton adds that he heard that Lovato was "smoking weed" as well.

Don't Believe the Hype

Lovato posted an Instagram story on Dec. 4, saying "Don't believe the rumors."

About 16 months ago, in July, 2018, Lovato had a terrible relapse. She overdosed and was hospitalized. She went into rehab more than a week later.

In an Instagram post from August 2018 that was later deleted, Lovato wrote:

“This illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet. I want to thank God for keeping me alive and well. To my fans, I am forever grateful for all of your love and support throughout this past week and beyond.”

Hoping For New Music

Along with denying Hilton's rumors yesterday, she also put up another Instagram post -- a black screen with the words “The next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing….”

Does this mean we'll hear new music from her soon?
