Demi Lovato Addressed Speculation That She's Engaged To Her Boyfriend, Jutes

Demi Lovato is clearing the air around those Jutes engagement rumors.
Speculation started last week after she seemingly almost called Jutes her fiancé at a concert. Demi — who uses she/her and they/them pronouns — was introducing their favorite song they've "ever written," when they said: "I will forever dedicate it to my fi— my boyfriend."

It had people freaking out about the possibility that Demi had secretly gotten engaged — but she says that's not the case.
"If I was engaged, I'd announce it!!!!!" Demi wrote on Instagram. She explained that she'd tried to say "favorite person" at the show, but "glitched and said 'boyfriend' instead."
They added, "Anyway, I'm still obsessed with @jutesmusic, and he is both my fffffffavorite person and my boyfriend!!!"
Demi went public with Jutes in August of 2022, following her split from her former fiancé Max Ehrich. She's described him as her "best friend" and her "twin flame," and so has he.
