Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders maintains an ever-changing ranking order for his five children — and insists he's not the only parent that does so.

Sanders, 56, first revealed the public ranking of his children on Instagram, with son Deion Jr., 29, holding the top rank in Dec. 2022.

After Deion's Buffaloes pulled off a win in Saturday's game against Colorado State, behind two stolen turnovers from son Shilo Sanders, 23, the head coach and father of five said he may have an updated ranking order.

Deion spoke to the media after Saturday's victory, where a reporter asked, "Shilo got two turnovers today, I’m wondering if that moved him up in the kid rankings?," as seen in a video on X, formerly Twitter, shared by Fox College Football.

"He is moving up," Deion said of Shilo's ranking. "He is moving on up like the Jeffersons, but [son] Shedeur is straight-up balling too," he added.

Additionally, Deion said his daughter Shelomi, AKA "Bossy", may have also moved up in the rankings after Saturday. "Bossy came in and gave me the biggest hug and kiss and appreciation for Daddy that she could ever give me at the end of the game, so that was great."

Deion gave additional praise to his eldest son, Deion Jr, whom the head coach said is doing "fascinating" work on social media with his streetwear clothing brand, Well Off.

"It's tough. My kids rankings are tough," Sanders said to reporters. "It's a serious run right now, it really is."

Sanders went on to claim he's not alone as a parent who ranks their kids. "I'm the only one that's honest about ranking my kids. You guys act like you love all of them the same and you don't," he said, adding, "I don't know why y'all act like that."

The former NFL star has two children with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers: a daughter, Deiondra, 31, and a son, Deion Jr., 29. He also had three children with his second wife, Pilar Biggers-Sanders: sons Shilo, 23, and Shedeur, 21, and daughter Shelomi, 19.

In January, Deion told PEOPLE his family is all about unity. "We believe in strength, and there's strength in unity, so family makes us stronger," said Deion. "And we don't just talk it, we live it."

"We all work together and we all incorporate into one another's lives," he added. "So it's all centered on sports and everything happens around that."

The Colorado Buffaloes have become one of the biggest stories in sports this season as Deion's team has a 3-0 record so far this season, which greatly outperforms the no. 22 ranking they held coming into the season.

The team's third win came after a double overtime thriller on Saturday against the rival Colorado State.

The Buffaloes emerged victorious despite losing star cornerback Travis Hunter, who was taken to the hospital following a hit from Henry Blackburn, who was handed a personal foul for the scary collision.

According to CBS Sports analyst Carl Reed Jr., Deion said Hunter, 20, will be out "for three weeks" following the injury.
