Deion Sanders' Daughter Deiondra Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby with Singer Jacquees

"U having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I'm YOUNG!" Deion commented on the announcement

Deion Sanders will soon be adding grandfather to his long list of accomplishments!

In an Instagram post on Friday, Sanders' 31-year-old daughter Deiondra Sanders announced that she's expecting her first child with her partner, Jacquees. The R&B musician also confirmed the happy news with his own Instagram post on Saturday, featuring a photo of him kissing Deiondra's belly.

The "You" singer, 29, included the photo within a carousel of snapshots and videos of the couple on vacation together. "My definition of real LOVE 🙏🏾♾️❤️," he captioned the post.

Deiondra's announcement had a more serious tone. She detailed all of the reasons she's having the baby in the caption of a video that appeared to be a scripted reenactment of her real-life experiences.

The first scene included a medical professional telling her that "it's gonna be kind of hard in the future to conceive a child" since she's had four myomectomies — surgical procedures to remove fibroid tumors.

The woman went on to tell Deiondra that her chances of getting pregnant were "slim" and if she did, it would be a "high-risk" pregnancy.

After the scene in the medical office, the video cut to Deiondra on a bridge wearing a white dress and cradling a baby bump.

In the caption of the video, Deiondra told her followers that her pregnancy was "not planned nor expected."

"I’m not having my baby to keep a man. I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to," she continued.

"I’m having my baby for the four myomectomy surgeries I have had. I am having my baby for all the years I stayed on birth control even though it gave me breast tumors. I’m having my baby for all the doctors that told me I wouldn’t make it out of the first trimester."

The reality star went on to write that she's having the baby "for the 7 current fibroids that surround my uterus to this day" and "the high risk moms that was scared everyday thinking they would miscarry."

She also revealed that she experienced bleeding "every day" in the first trimester of her pregnancy.

"I’m having this baby to give hope to all the other women that may be in my situation." she wrote in the video's caption.

Proud grandfather-to-be Deion, 56 — a former NFL and MLB athlete — commented on his daughter's candid video post, offering some encouraging words.

"PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I'm YOUNG!" he wrote. "I Love u baby and I'm glad u said u ain't having a baby to keep a man. You've always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain't gon ever ever let u DOWN especially when I'm UP."

Deion shares Deiondra — along with son Deion Jr., 30 — with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers. He also has three children with his second wife, Pilar Biggers-Sanders: sons Shilo, 24, and Shedeur, 22, and daughter Shelomi, 20.
