They again meet when Mike, then a member of the Special Forces, stumbles upon the duo in a Viatnamese village in early 1969. They are detained by Viet Cong in a riverside cage and coerced into deadly games of Russian roulette. Despite a daring escape, fate intervenes, leading to their recapture.
