LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Over the years, Deece Productions, and Gregg Hall specifically, have done some pretty incredible tribute shows. Hall and his friends have embodied the music of all 3 Hank Williams’, Tom Petty, the Alman Brothers, Nirvana, Waylon Jennings, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the music of Woodstock, Johnny Cash, the Grateful Dead, Sun Records, Willie Nelson and some I am sure I have missed.

During these shows, Hall pulls from the deep pool of talent that call him friend and colleague to round out bands that have made iconic music. Think about that for a second. Hall has cultivated such a career that he can, successfully, recreate bands and the music they created that people relate to their lives. Tom Petty remind you of summer? Hank Williams remind you of a grandparent? First dance with your spouse was to an Allman Brothers song? Think about the talent level it takes to give audiences a night full of that music. Deece Productions, and by extension, Gregg Hall, has been at the center of all of that.

Plus, there is another tribute show coming to the La Crosse Center very soon. The only more iconic than Fleetwood Mac’s sound was the multiple, and passionate, relationships that eventually broke the band up. On May 4th, Deece Productions is bringing those songs to a wanting audience when they give you “Running in the Shadows: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac” at the La Crosse Center’s South Hall. Tickets are on sale now and are just $25, $30 if you wait to get them at the door on the night of the event. You can find those tickets at Deaf Ear Records, Tree Huggers Co-op, Instrument Repair of La Crosse or online at gregghallmusic.com. Doors open at 6 pm that night, Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball will kick things off at 7 pm and then the tribute show will hit the stage after that.
