Debbie Gibson has announced she has secured a deal with Gallery Books for a new memoir, as first reported in Publishers Weekly.
The book does not have a title or release date as of yet, but in a social media statement, Gibson said her first ever memoir “reflects my hard won journey in, not only the entertainment world, but all aspects of my life.” She continued, “I can’t wait to share my stories with you so that you all may gain inspiration and tools for navigating your own journey cuz my connection to all of you is what has always motivated me more than anything! It’s so fitting that in this chapter and, specifically on this day as I arrive at my happy place which represents freedom and adventure and peace, I get to share this news!”
Earlier this year, Gibson embarked on a tour behind her 2021 LP The Body Remembers, which marked her first album of new material in 20 years. In December 2022, Gibson shared her first holiday album, Winterlicious, which she discussed in an interview with Kyle Meredith.
