Death Grips Working With Tool’s Justin Chancellor on New Album

After previously teasing a collaboration with Shrek director Andrew Adamson

Death Grips have shared another teaser from the recording of their forthcoming new album, this one a photo of Zach Hill playing alongside Tool bassist Justin Chancellor. Check that out below. Death Grips previously shared a photo of Shrek director Andrew Adamson in the studio, working on their follow-up to Bottomless Pit. Earlier today, they got a shoutout from William Shatner on Twitter. Justin Chancellor has played with Tool since 1995, when he replaced founding member Paul D‘Amour. Tool’s Maynard James Keenan revealed earlier this year that “words and melodies” had been complete for nearly all the songs on Tool’s next album.
