Ahead of their co-headlining tour with The Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie have unveiled a new song called “An Arrow in the Wall.” What’s more, the 12-inch physical release also includes a remix of the song from CHVRCHES.
“‘An Arrow In the Wall’ is about the warning signs all around us in the 21st century that society-at-large is in decay,” DCFC frontman Ben Gibbard said in a statement. “The arrow lodged in the wall might have missed this time, but it would be naive to assume the next one won’t also.”
Regarding the song’s companion remix, Gibbard said CHVRCHES “took our maudlin little dance track and turned it into a major key club banger.”

DCFC’s co-headlining tour with The Postal Services officially launches on September 5th. The groups will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their respective albums Give Up and Transatlanticism by performing them in full. Tickets are available for purchase here.
