Dean McDermott has made his relationship official on social media.

On Wednesday, May 15, the actor, 57, shared an Instagram post alongside girlfriend Lily Calo. His post marks the couple’s first appearance on social media.

The photo was shared amid his divorce from his wife of nearly 18 years, Tori Spelling, who officially filed for divorce on March 29.

In his post, McDermott shared a snapshot of the new couple at The Magic Castle, a private club in Los Angeles, posing arm in arm.

“Sometimes ya just gotta put on your best duds and take your girl to The Magic Castle. Cuz she’s Magic!! 🎩#mylovey,” he captioned the post.

Along with McDermott’s post, Calo, a senior account executive at health brand Conscious Community Global, shared a sweet photo alongside the actor. She posted a black and white photo of the pair smiling widely for the camera.

“I’ve got peace and I’ve got love ♥️ #gratefulheart,” she captioned the image.

Spelling, who turns 51 on May 16, commented on Calo's post: “Love you both ❤️🙌.” She also liked her ex’s Instagram post.

McDermott was first photographed with Calo in October. Spelling revealed that she spends time with the new couple at family dinners.

"I like Lily a lot. It's not bad. It's just, you know, it's different," she said on an episode of her misSPELLING podcast in April.

Before McDermott and Calo shared their photos on Wednesday, the actor requested the dissolution of his marriage to Spelling on May 13. He cited irreconcilable differences but listed a different separation date than his wife did, with McDermott citing July 7, 2023.

This follows Spelling’s filing from six weeks ago that listed their separation on June 17, 2023 — which was the same day McDermott announced that they had decided to go their separate ways in an Instagram post that he later deleted.

Along with the differing date, McDermott's filing also pushes back against Spelling's request for sole physical custody of their five kids — Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7. The Canadian actor requested joint physical and legal custody instead.

He also requested spousal support for himself and the termination of spousal support for Spelling. Meanwhile, Spelling previously requested the court award her spousal support and terminate McDermott's ability to receive it.
