Seismic Dance Event will return to Concourse Project in Southeast Austin on Nov. 10-12 for three days of electronic music. On Wednesday, festival organizers released phase one of a lineup that mixed innovators with some of the genre's biggest stars.
Mainstream electronic music hitmaker deadmau5 and super producer Chris Lake from Black Book Records lead the lineup alongside Kaskade, who will put his pop collabs on the shelf for a "Redux" set exploring the underground house he mines in his series of "Redux" EPs.
Area10 label head MK will make a special appearance at the fest and German producers Boys Noize and Loco Dice will bring international flavor.
Tickets to the Seismic 6.0 are on sale now at seismicdanceevent.com. Three-day passes start at $169.
Who books Seismic Dance Event and what is the setup?
Seismic Dance Event, one of the premiere boutique electronic music events in Texas and one of the few remaining indie music festivals in Austin, is booked by RealMusic Events. The company has been working for 14 years to make Austin a destination for electronic music artists and their fans.
The festival takes place at Concourse Project, a 15-acre venue in Southeast Austin that RealMusic Events runs year-round. Music will be programmed on two stages which will each have a distinct aesthetic. In addition, event organizers promise art installations, food trucks and other surprises.
