Deadline Launches Contenders Television Streaming Site

A day after wrapping its two-day, 35-panel Contenders Television extravaganza to kick off the small-screen awards season, Deadline has launched the event’s streaming site featuring the full panel videos.

This year’s Contenders, live from the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, features 20 networks, studios and streamers showing off their wares in a showcase that included conversations with stars and creatives around the buzziest dramas in multiple genres, from dramas and comedies to TV movies, unscripted and late-night.

Just a sampling of the panelists on the stage in front of a packed house of industry and guild voters included Jodie Foster, David Oyelowo, Quinta Brunson, Lily Gladstone, Brie Larson, Jimmy Fallon, Matt Bomer, Tom Hiddleston, Kiefer Sutherland, Kristen Wiig, Bill Pullman, Giancarlo Esposito, Kurt Russell, Rebecca Ferguson, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Owen Wilson, Theo James, Jeff Probst, Brit Marling, Tony Shalhoub, Chuck Lorre, Andrea Riseborough, Common, Maya Erskine, as well as Nicole Kidman and Walton Goggins, who joined virtually.

Studios participating this year included Apple TV+, Legendary, Prime Video, Showtime, Paramount+, CBS Studios, Hulu, Netflix, National Geographic, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Television, Lifetime, Masterpiece on PBS, AMC/AMC+, ABC, Marvel Studios/Disney+, Warner Bros Television and FX.
