Dead & Company San Francisco live stream: How to watch band's final shows on tour

The itinerary on Dead & Company's final tour has hit the final stop. The band, led by Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, has its last shows in a tour-ending three-night stint at Oracle Park in San Francisco starting Friday.

The band, founded in 2015, had played 164 concerts before this final tour was announced in September 2022. "Well it looks like that’s it for this outfit; but don’t worry we will all be out there in one form or another until we drop…" Weir tweeted at the time.

You can watch all of Dead & Company's shows from this tour on demand at Nugs.net. The website includes streams from shows that have already happened, which started with the May 19-20 dates in Los Angeles and includes one in which they were joined by Dave Matthews on July 3 at Boulder, Colorado's Folsom Field.

Who is performing?

Formed in 2015, Dead & Company carries on the legacy of the Grateful Dead, which broke up after the death of Jerry Garcia. At the time, the remaining band members said in a statement, that "individually and in various combinations they will undoubtedly continue to make music, whatever the future holds will be something different in name and structure."

Surviving band members Weir, Hart, Phil Lesh, and Bill Kreutzmann continued to perform and tour together in various bands under names including The Other Ones, the Dead and Further. The so-called "Core Four" culminated their journey with three shows in Chicago dubbed "Fare Thee Well" in July 2015, marking the band's 50th anniversary.

Lesh then left the group to form Phil and Friends, leaving Weir, Hart and Kreutzmann and new keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, who played at Fare Thee Well, to form Dead & Company with lead guitarist John Mayer and bassist Oteil Burbridge from the Allman Brothers Band.

Kreutzmann has not been on the band's summer tour. Drummer Jay Lane, who served as a replacement previously for Dead & Company – and played with Weir in his bands Ratdog and Wolf Bros. – joined the band for this tour.
