DC Young Fly Mourns Sister's Death: 'In a Matter of a Year I Lost 3 People'

DC Young Fly is mourning another loved one.

The Celebrity Squares host, 31, announced the death of his sister in an Instagram post on Monday. The news comes months after his longtime partner, Jacky Oh, died at age 32.

"In a matter of a year I lost 3 people☹️ my Kuzzin on last august my girl in may and my sister a couple days ago🤦🏽‍♂️.. u jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u and he will grant you the strength….," he wrote.

While the television personality didn't reveal details about his sister's death, he continued his statement by urging his followers to "keep God first" and "stay prayed up."

"Make sure Yu stay righteous don't hold no grudge because GOD is love and love will always overcome adversity," he added. The comment section was filled with multiple messages of support from his friends and fans.

"So sorry to hear DC. Sending love & healing to you.I know you’re strong but I’ll still continue covering you in prayer 🙏🏾❤️, " wrote singer-songwriter Keri Hilson.

Fellow Wild 'N Out star Hitman Holla wrote, "Love you my guy! Call me if u need anything & sorry for yo loss ❤️‍🩹." The Game commented, "Love you champ. 🤜🏾🤛🏾"

The comedian — whose real name is John Whitfield — previously opened up about how he deals with grief while addressing the death of Jacky Oh during an appearance on The Steve Harvey Morning Show.

“There’s no human secret way of dealing with things, especially when real life hits you,” he said. “And I think a lot of people don’t know real life — you make and create how your life can go today, but you don't know where your life is going to go tomorrow.”

While speaking out for the first time following her death, he reflected on their family, including their children Nova, Nala, and Prince Nehemiah.

“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of realty [sic] so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner 😢” he wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful.”

“Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!! Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat," he added.
