DB Woodside wants Hollywood to cast him as a leading man in his own show.

TVLine reports that the Lucifer star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to shoot his shot at getting top billing on a show. He called his tweet “the boldest tweet I’ll ever send.”

Lucifer. Big success. Blessed to be a part. Night Agent. Big success. Blessed to be a part. Suits. Big success. Blessed to be a part. In conclusion: I think I deserve the opportunity to lead my own show.”

As of writing this post, Woodside’s tweet has received over 19,000 likes and has been viewed nearly 666,000 times (very fitting, since he was a Lucifer regular).

Other TV stars also gave their nods of approval, with Jane Espenson, who starred with Woodside in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, writing, “Undoubtedly.” Heroes star Sendhil Ramamurthy also wrote, “I’ll be tuning in.” The Good Doctor star Nicholas Gonzalez also responded with a fistbump and a brown heart emoji.

Woodside’s extensive resume includes several hit shows, including 9-1-1 Lone Star, Young Justice, Single Ladies, Parenthood and Hellcats, among others. He’s also recently starred in the Gabrielle Union-led Netflix film The Perfect Find. With the amount of work Woodside has put in, it is truly high time for him to lead a primetime show on his own.
