SOUTH BEND — David Wax Museum performs at 7 p.m. April 5 at Stockroom East, 625 Jefferson Blvd., Ste. C.

The husband-wife duo of David Wax and Suz Slezak plays a mixture of traditional Mexican son music and Americana.

The duo has released eight albums, including their 2008 debut, “I Turned Off Thinking About,” 2012’s “Knock Knock Get Up” and their most recent, 2023’s "You Must Change Your Life.”

They also performed at the 2018 wedding of Chasten Glezman and former South Bend mayor and current U.S.Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, where they sang Keith Whitley’s “When You Say Nothing At All” as the couple’s first dance, according to the Indy Star.

South Bend’s Loose Associates opens.
