David Eason Shares Day with the Kids While Throwing Shade at Jenelle Evans

Former "Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans has called it quits with her husband, David Eason, but he's showing that he's still going to be a part of his children's lives and also taking a shot at his estranged wife.

Eason took to Instagram Sunday morning to reflect on a recent trip with his daughters, Maryssa and Ensley, along with a girl who appears to be a friend. It does not appear that Jenelle was involved in the daddy-daughter day.

Daddy-Daughter Day

In the photo, Maryssa and Ensley can be seen sitting in one of those coin-operated school bus rides at the mall, and David describes their daddy-daughter day.

"We had so much fun last weekend! Maryssa wanted to get her ear cartilage pierced but I couldn't find a place in town to do it under 14 years old. New pair of Van's it is I guess."

Jenelle Is Gone

The former MTV star revealed that she took the kids and left her husband and also claims she filed for divorce.

"The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats what is best for me, and for my kid."

"Today I've filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you'll hear from us again soon."

Throwing Shade?

There are multiple reports stating Jenelle is going to seek full custody of her 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, and David is very upset. On Sunday he posted on his Instagram story a screengrab of one such report detailing Jenelle's alleged plan to score custody. He followed that up with a screenshot of another report from 2018 when Jenelle was involved in a road rage incident.

"But this is okay?" he wrote alongside the article which detailed Jenelle allegedly following a guy home and pulling a gun on him before crashing into a vehicle and knocking over multiple mailboxes while fleeing the scene.

Cops were notified of the incident, but according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, an officer did not witness the incident so she was let off the hook.

A Ploy to Get Back On TV?

Multiple reports claim that Jenelle is desperate to get back in the good graces of MTV and "Teen Mom," and dumping her husband was the quickest way for a return to TV. She was unceremoniously booted from "Teen Mom 2" after the killing of her french bulldog, Nugget.

"MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since."

"Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."

However, now that David is allegedly out of the picture Jenelle is planning on making a move to reprise her role as a reality TV star.

Some fans aren't quite sure if the split between Jenelle and David is legit, or just a ploy to get back on the show.

As one person wrote on Instagram, the whole thing is "probably just another publicity stunt."
