David Duchovny Plays 'It's Your Line'

He’s now starring in NBC’s summer drama Aquarius as a detective tangled up with Charles Manson, and soon, he’ll revive Fox Mulder for Fox’s reboot of The X-Files. But there are a lot of other credits on David Duchovny’s IMDB page. To test his memory of them, we read him lines of dialogue from six roles and asked him to name which project they’re from. It’s our version of This Is Your Life, and though he starts off shaky trying to remember the name of the other Wilson brother, he brings it home in the end.

Duchovny also sat down with Yahoo TV to discuss why he liked the idea of following Californication with Aquarius and the difficulty of maintaining Det. Sam Hodiak’s flattop:
