Barstool Sports and One Bite Pizza founder David "El Presidente" Portnoy apparently can't get enough of Bucks County pizza.

On the heels of reviewing slices from local pizza joints Luccatelli's in Doylestown and Peppino's in Chalfont, Portnoy has now taken a bite out of a slice from Russo's Pizzeria in New Hope.

Here's what Portnoy thought of Russo's super-sized pie.

'El Presidente' reviews a slice from Russo's extra-sized pie

Portnoy visited Russo's Pizza at 41 N. Main Street earlier this week, and in the video review, Portnoy seemed just as impressed with New Hope's small-town vibe as he was with Russo's pizza.

"The town is beautiful. It's like every little kid is coming down Main Street, and they've got the stores, and it feels like Thanksgiving," Portnoy said. "It's very New England-y, with cool vibes. You come here and for $40 or $50, you can feed the whole family, no problem."

Portnoy then talks with the owner before taking a slice from Russo's signature 30-inch tomato pie.

"This pizza is gigantic. The one thing about doing pizza this big is, how you keep that crunch on that big of a slice," Portnoy said before taking more than just one bite. "I do like it, but my only thing would be is that, I think if you went a little bit smaller, you'd have a tighter, crisper pizza, which is really hard with this mega pizza to keep it from doing that flop.

"But it's good," Portnoy continued in his review. "The sauce is good, the bread is good, the crust is good, and the town is phenomenal. I'm going to go 7.5."

El Presidente's visit to Russo's is third stop in Bucks County Blitz

Portnoy's take on a slice from Russo's continues a string of favorable reviews of Bucks County pizza.

Earlier this month, Portnoy stopped by Lucatelli's Pizzeria in Doylestown and subjected a slice to Portnoy's viral "One Bite" reviews.

"It's a football pizza," Portnoy said of the slice from Lucatelli's. "It's like a good, very traditional high-end football pizza. It almost has like, a more New York-vibe than a Phlly-vibe pizza, if that makes sense. I give it a 7-8."

Portnoy also grabbed a tomato pie from Peppino's, at 449 West Butler Avenue in Chalfont to review.

"I really like it. It's a little messy; 7.8," Portnoy said of his final ranking of Peppino's tomato pie. "I think it's really good, and I'd come back. It's a little sloppy, but I really do like it, and I like tomato pies."

'El Presidente' turns Barstool Sports, One Bite Pizza into viral trends

Portnoy founded Barstool Sports in 2004, after a stint at an IT firm. Portnoy originally intended for Barstool Sports to be a newspaper and cultivated the brash "El Presidente" character, who would write most of Barstool Sports' content at the time.

In its current iteration, Barstool Sports is a launching site for sports, trending culture and commentary.

Portnoy is also a die-hard pizza fan who has reviewed dozens of pizza spots nationwide as part of his "One Bite Reviews," which can be viewed on his website or YouTube.
