Dave McCary Announces Engagement to Emma Stone on Instagram
It's official! Emma Stone and Dave McCary are engaged.
People reported that Stone and McCary met in 2016 while filming the "Wells For The Boys" sketch. Stone was hosting 'Saturday Night Live' and McCary directed the sketch. A source then confirmed that the couple began dating in 2017. Although the two are private about their love life together, they have been spotted multiple times on date nights in 2018.
Dave McCary took to Instagram to announce his engagement to Emma Stone.

In the Instagram post, the two are snuggled up close. McCary is wearing a dark blue sweater. Stone is wearing a white T-shirt and flashing her new engagement ring. The fact that the ring is blurry shows they were so excited to capture the exact blissful moment perfect or not.
Stone is an actress best known for playing Mia in 'La La Land,' Olive in 'Easy A,' Skeeter Phelan in 'The Help' and in Abigail in 'The Favourite.' She will soon appear in Disney's live-action 'Cruella de Vil.'
McCary is currently working as a writer and director on 'SNL.' He also directed 'Brigsby Bear' which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
Emma Stone revealed to Elle in 2018 that since dating McCary, her views on kids and marriage has changed and evolved.
"As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids," she told the outlet. "And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids."
