Dave Grohl Launches BBQ Company, Serves California Firefighters

Last night (November 12), Dave Grohl showed his gratitude to the firefighters combatting the Woolsey Fire in Los Angeles by serving food from his newly launched Backbeat Barbecue company, as NME notes. “To all the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department heroes we met last night... Thank you. It was an honor to cook for you,” Grohl wrote in a caption on Instagram. Los Angeles County Fire Station 68 also shared a post from the evening, writing, “Thanks Dave! The wildfires devastating Northern and Southern California have become the deadliest and most destructive in the state’s history. Artists affected by the fire have included Neil Young, Miley Cyrus, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and more.
