Reuben Cox, owner of Old Style Guitar Shop in Los Angeles, has partnered with the organizers of “7-inches for Planned Parenthood” to raffle off a guitar signed by 102 of the biggest names in the music industry. Cox donated a Gibson CJ-165 acoustic guitar and invited numerous artists to come and cover the body in signatures, including the Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, John Legend, Carrie Brownstein, Mac DeMarco, Matt Berninger, Kim Gordon, Feist, Sam Smith, Sia, Katy Perry, Ryan Adams, Henry Rollins, Jackson Browne, Tom Petty, Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire... the list goes on.
Other notable names include Ted Leo, Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner, Gary Clark Jr., Best Coast, Perfume Genius, Obey founder Shepard Fairey, Jim James, Mark Ronson, John Legend, Florence Welch, Fred Armisen, and Ty Segall.
