Dave Franco And Alison Brie To Star In Horror Pic ‘Together’ For Picturestart, Tango And Director Michael Shanks

Dave Franco and Alison Brie are set to star in Together, a horror feature film from first-time writer-director Michael Shanks. Shanks will write and direct with Picturestart, Tango, 1.21, Princess Pictures, Franco and Brie producing. Tango, Picturestart and 30West are financing.

The film is about the horror of co-dependency told in a unique way. Additional details are being kept under wraps.

Franco was most recently seen in A24’s Love Lies Bleeding, which just had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. The actor best known for his work in 21 Jump Street and The Disaster Artist was also of late in Netflix’s Day Shift, and he directed the Amazon Studios pic Somebody I Used to Know, which also starred Brie as well as Amy Sedaris and Jay Ellis.

Next up for Brie is the Peacock series Apples Never Fall, in which she stars opposite Annette Bening, Sam Neill and Jake Lacy. She also recently starred Jeff Baena’s Horse Girl, which she also co-wrote and produced.
