Comedian Dave Chappelle will bring his fall tour to Indianapolis. Dave Chapelle Live will come to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sept. 13.

Produced by Live Nation, the fall run began Aug. 22 in New York. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.

The shows will not allow cellphones, cameras or recording devices inside the venues, according to a news release from Live Nation. Patrons will have to seal phones and smartwatches in Yondr pouches during the show, which will be unlocked at the end. If necessary, patrons can use unlocking stations in the lobby.

Live music in and around Indianapolis: 100+ free summer shows

Chappelle visited Indianapolis in November 2021 amid lingering controversy over his remarks about trans people in his Netflix special "The Closer." He played to a packed Gainbridge during an evening of comedy, film, hip-hop and karaoke, and made a few remarks about being "canceled."

Overall, the night included a documentary about Chappelle spending a summer performing in his home Yellow Springs, Ohio; Jeff Ross, who's known for his work as the Comedy Central roastmaster; comedian Sam Jay; hip-hop duo Method Man and Redman; and DJ Trauma.
