Darius Jackson, presumed ex-boyfriend and father to 8-month-old son Leodis, with whom he shares with Keke Palmer, is speaking out amid accusations of domestic abuse.
Per TMZ, sources close to Darius say the up-and-coming actor has denied any wrongdoing and has alleged that the photos and videos that Keke submitted as evidence of her abuse stem from a recent incident that was a result of them arguing about Leodis. Darius says that he’d previously communicated with Keke via text about coming to get the child to go watch football on a Sunday. However, when he arrived at her home, he claims that the baby was nowhere to be found. From there, the two allegedly got into an argument and Keke eventually called her mother Sharon and put her on speakerphone.

“Please do not contact me about this ridiculous childish behavior. Your son choked his own sister, deal with his anger issues. If he attacks my daughter in her own own [home] where she pays the bills, he is trespassing and anything can happen so he should stay away.
You should be very ashamed to have raised a man who fights women.”
As previously reported by The Root, this comes just after Sharon shared harsh words for Darius’ older brother, Insecure star Sarunas Jackson, for the part he played in all of this drama. It also comes just a few days after a judge granted Keke a temporary restraining order against Darius and sole custody of their son.
This case is getting messier and messier by the moment. But for the sake of their child, let’s hope things can get resolved quickly and peacefully, and that justice will be served.
