KBS’ upcoming K-drama Dare To Love Me is creating quite a buzz among the audience. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the rom-com drama stars Kim Myung-Soo and Lee Yoo-Young. Read on to learn more about the drama.

The story revolves around a 21st-century young man, Shin Yoo-Bok, who believes in Confucian values. On the other hand, there’s Kim Hong-Do, who works hard daily to be in her profession, the design industry. How their lives are entangled, and how a cute love story blooms are all about the drama.

Kim Myung-Soo plays the male lead of the drama, Shin Yoo-Bok. Even though he knows the millennial and Gen Z lingual, he believes in Confucian values. His fun-filled character is expected to give the audience a good laugh. He roams around wearing a hanbok (Joseon-era costume).

Yoo-Bok gives respect to people; however, he finds it difficult to communicate with them. He wants to become a webtoon writer, and in the process, he meets Kim Hong-Do. However, his life will take a massive turn as his fate entangles with Hong-Do’s. Lee Yoo-Young will play the hardworking designer Kim Hong-Do in the drama Dare To Love Me.

Apart from Kim Myung-Soo and Lee Yoo-Young, Dare To Love Me also stars Bae Jong-Ok as Camilie Jang, Jo In as Shin Yi-Bok and Park Eun-Suk as Lee Jun-Ho. Eun-Suk plays the character of the owner of a traditional Korean restaurant. His character still remains a mystery to the viewers.

In addition to them, Han Gi-Chan, Kim Si-Hyeon, Seo Byuk-Joon, Lim Young-Ju, and others are going to make appearances in different roles. The characters are not disclosed much other than the lead ones. While Shin Yoo-Bok exudes great fighting skills, Kim Hong-Do is seen getting trampled at her work, but her determination never lets her take it down.

In one of the teasers, Hong-Do looks devastated as she enters a convenience store with mascara and liner smeared on her face. She asks for beer to gulp down her misery. Even though their lives are drastically different from one another, their heart-fluttering romance will surely give the audience a good time.

The released trailers and images already show great chemistry between Myung-Soo and Yoo-Young. The drama’s production team also says, “The characters are being portrayed in a more lovable way thanks to Kim Myung-Soo and Lee Yoo-Young’s passion for the project. Please look forward to the romantic chemistry between them, which will make the drama even more enjoyable to watch.”

Myung-Soo and Yoo-Young recently appreciated each other’s acting skills in an interview. This makes the viewers more excited to watch the drama.
