Darby Allin is back, and he is set to compete at AEW Double or Nothing.

On the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW announced that Eddie Kingston was unable to compete in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing. Kingston suffered an injury at AEW Double or Nothing on May 11.

Later in the show, Kazuchika Okada of The Elite defeated Dax Harwood of Team AEW to retain the AEW Continental Championship. The Elite ganged up on Harwood after the bell, and they brawled with the rest of Team AEW. They were outnumbered, but help arrived in the form of the returning Darby Allin. Allin took the fight to The Elite, and Team AEW stood tall.

Allin was then confirmed as Kingston’s replacement at AEW Double or Nothing.

Darby Allin has not wrestled since the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he suffered a broken foot during his match against Jay White. He revealed that he got hit by a bus on March 27, but he walked away with merely a broken nose.

Kingston confirmed his injury in a post on social media.
