Ministry, Suicidal Tendencies, Corrosion of Conformity, more to perform

By Noah Yoo.

Danzig recently announced his first album in seven years, as well as the return of his long-running Blackest of the Black festival. Now, the Misfits co-founder has detailed the fest. Ministry and Suicidal Tendencies are set to perform (along with Danzig headlining), with Atreyu, Corrosion of Conformity, Marduk, and more on the bill as well. Attractions include “Castle Danzig,” a “fully immersive walkthrough experience of pain, pleasure, and metal” based on the music and graphic novels of the castle’s namesake. Attendees can experience a “blood bath,” a bondage stage, a padded cell (complete with straitjacket), and more. Also promised are a roaming freak show, rides, and more. Find more info about the Blackest of the Black festival here. It all goes down at Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, California from May 26-27.
