Luxury movie theaters that serve hot meals and all kinds of beverages have become more popular in recent years as customers seek out the perfect moviegoing experience. But if you plan on going to one of these places, don't invite Danny McBride.

The Righteous Gemstones star spoke to GQ about his preferred routine when going to the movies. When asked about the move toward full meals and drinks being sold at these theaters, McBride was honest with his answer.

"I hate it. I can’t stand it," he stated plainly. "I also don’t think it makes sense to combine booze with movies. You’re going to have to piss. Doesn’t alcohol make you want to get up and get loose? You don’t want to sit there, drink beer, and just be quiet."

"I would have no interest in going to see a movie and just pounding IPAs," he added. "Just f--king falling asleep."

Instead of downing alcoholic beverages while trying to watch the latest blockbuster, McBride would rather indulge in a different, more relaxing vice. For him, cannabis and cinema "go together f--king perfectly."

"If I went to a theater, and it was like, 'Here’s your popcorn and here’s f--king weed,' I feel like that would be an awesome little combo right there," he confessed.

Recreational cannabis is legal in approximately half the country, but theaters that offer these products to customers on top of their concessions are few and far between. McBride himself might be on to something for a possible future business venture.
