Daniel Johnston Box Set The End Is Never Really Over Announced
A posthumous music release from Daniel Johnston, the influential singer-songwriter and visual artist who died last year from a heart attack, has been announced. The End Is Never Really Over, a box set comprising Johnston’s 1990 album 1990 and 1991’s Artistic Vice, arrives August 29 as part of the rescheduled Record Store Day UK.
Both albums have been out of print for over a decade. Alongside the vinyl, The End Is Never Really Over will come with stickers, a t-shirt, and an art book featuring illustrations by Johnston. Check out the cover art below and find participating stores here.
