EXCLUSIVE: It’s the year of Taylor Swift, and everything associated with the pop star seems to turn to gold.

Dancing with the Stars is no exception. The ballroom competition show celebrated Swift during its November 21 episode, with couples dancing to some of her greatest hits.

The episode soared to 7.8M total viewers after seven days of viewing on linear and streaming platforms, making it the show’s most-watched multi-platform telecast on ABC since the September 2021 premiere. That’s up more than 2M from the live + same-day audience that Nielsen recorded for the episode.

In terms of total ratings, the Dancing with the Stars Taylor Swift celebration also managed a 1.36 rating among adults 18-49, making it the highest-rated telecast of the season with pretty significant growth over the 0.87 L+SD rating.

Dancing with the Stars has certainly been benefitting from its return to ABC after a season exclusively on Disney+. With the show now simulcast across broadcast and streaming, its managed to stay on par with or perform better than Season 30 for most episodes.

The previous week, Whitney Houston night boosted the show to a five-week high for multiplatform viewing.

This marks the third straight week that the show has grown in ratings, which bodes well for the finale that airs Tuesday night. The remaining five couples will be going head-to-head one more time for the mirrorball trophy.
