Calling all ghouls, it's Monster night on Dancing With the Stars!

Alyson Hannigan paid tribute to her witchy past with a vampiric Paso Doble inspired by her time on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Donning a bright red wig reminiscent of her character Willow and vampire fangs, Hannigan and partner Sasha impressed the judges, with Derek Hough saying that she brought the attack he was looking for in past weeks. Their blood-sucking routine earned them a 29 from the judges.

Ariana Madix performed a passionate Argentine tango to a strings version of "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish. We know Ariana has dealt with her fair share of one particular "bad guy," and maybe that was what lit the fire beneath her to get some excellent comments from the judges and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli. "I think you have what it takes to win it," said Carrie Ann Inaba. "You have something spectacular."

Then in the second round of the night the couples took to the floor all at once for the "Dance Monster-athon." The fan favorite event had a spooky spin this year as the couples danced a Hustle to "Stayin' Alive." The first round saw the, twisting and twirling about, but after the Grim Reaper tapped more half of the couples out, Jason Mraz, Xochitl Gomez, Lele Pons, Ariana Madix were left to dance a Charleston to "Grim Grinning Ghosts" and fight for extra points from the judges.

After almost 4 whole minutes of dancing, Xochitl and Val came out victorious (despite Xochitl's earlier injury) and earned 5 bonus points added to their overall score. But instead of a trophy, the two had a bucket full of red glitter dumped on their heads, reminiscent of the Halloween classic Carrie.

But in the end it was Mauricio Umansky who was given the ax. "It's something that I never would've done in my entire life", he said about his time on the show.
