Dancing With the Stars” was filled with a few unhappy contestants on Tuesday’s “Latin Night.”

More from Variety

While Peta Murgatroyd and actor Barry Williams struggled in the first week and earned a score of 16, the pair worked hard on this week’s Cha-Cha to “Oye Como Va” by Tito Puente and were pretty shcoked to earn a 5 from judge Carrie Ann Inaba. Following the score, the ABC broadcast went silent as Murgatroyd appeared to respond with “bulls–t,” which was bleeped out of the live telecast.

Still, the duo didn’t land in the bottom two. Instead, it was the most controversial dancer of the season, Adrian Peterson, who landed in the bottom alongside Jamie Lynn Spears. Peterson’s package this week seemingly tried to appeal to the audience, showing his life at home as he introduced partner Britt Stewart to his newborn baby. Peterson and Stewart received a score of 15 for their routine, three points lower than the first week.

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov also earned one point lower than week one, with a score of a 20, but the “Vanderpump Rules” alum remained positive as she admitted the samba is much more difficult than the tango. On the other side of the spectrum, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, who earned a score of 13 during the premiere, scored a 19 for their sensual tango, showing massive improvement.

Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater, who landed in the bottom two during the first week, had another rough week, as he made multiple mistakes during the routine and earned a score of 12. Still, he was safe.

In the end, Spears was sent home in what judge Derek Hough called a “shocker,” especially given that multiple teams earned lower scores.
