‘Dancing with the Stars’ elimination odds: ‘Music Video Night’ will be the end of the road for Harry, Alyson or Barry

Going into tonight’s “Music Video Night” on “Dancing with the Stars,” three celebrities appear to be at the greatest risk of elimination: “Too Hot to Handle” star Harry Jowsey, “Buffy” and “How I Met Your Mother” alum Alyson Hannigan and “Brady Bunch” veteran actor Barry Williams. That’s according to the combined predictions of “DWTS” fans who have placed their bets here in our predictions center since last week. Make or update your own forecasts before tonight’s show.

Jowsey has had a rough road on “DWTS,” at least when it comes to his judges’ scores. Out of six previous weeks of competition, he has been at the bottom of the leaderboard three times, including for the last two weeks in a row. On “Monster Night” he was dejected by the fact that a number of online fans were criticizing him too. But he has been safe every single week regardless, which means that he has also developed a sizable fan base voting at home for him to stick around. So while he gets leading odds of 46/25 of being sent home from the competition this week, don’t be surprised if his fans carry him to the next round yet again.

Hannigan is next with 9/4 odds. She has also had lower scores over the course of the season, though she has only been at the very bottom of the judges’ leaderboard once. The thing is, though, being near the bottom of the leaderboard has been more dangerous this season than being at the bottom. Only two out of the six eliminated celebrities so far (Matt Walsh and Tyson Beckford) were sent home when they had the lowest scores. A couple (Mira Sorvino and Mauricio Umansky) were eliminated when they actually got some of their personal best numbers. So things could be precarious for Hannigan even if she continues to improve on the dance floor.

Ranked third in our elimination predictions with 82/25 odds is Williams. Older celebrities don’t usually last very long in the competition, which tends to be physically grueling, but Williams has demonstrated impressive stamina and range of motion. And his charisma has won him support from viewers at home, just like Jowsey and Hannigan. But the deeper we get in the competition, the more those fan bases are going to be tested.
