Dancing With the Stars Adds Jamie Lynn Spears to Season 32 Cast

Ahead of its imminent full cast reveal, Dancing With the Stars has given us one more name on the Season 32 roster: Zoey 101 actress Jamie Lynn Spears.

Spears, whose casting was announced on Tuesday’s Good Morning America broadcast, joins Vanderpump Rules‘ Ariana Madix and The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson on the Season 32 cast list; Spears will compete with pro partner Alan Bersten. The remaining contestants are set to be unveiled Wednesday, also on GMA.

On the small screen, Spears is best known for playing the title character on the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101, which recently returned via Paramount+’s sequel film Zoey 102. Since 2020, she has co-starred as nurse Noreen Fitzgibbons on Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias.

As revealed earlier this morning, Dancing With the Stars is leaving its usual Monday perch for Season 32, and will instead air Tuesday nights on ABC beginning Sept. 26 at 8/7c. New episodes will be simulcast on ABC and Disney+ live, followed by next-day availability on Hulu.

Other Season 32 changes include the new hosting duo of Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough — the latter of whom succeeds former emcee Tyra Banks — and the absence of at least three beloved pro dancers: Witney Carson, Cheryl Burke and Mark Ballas.
