“you heard it here first… the squad is officially back together for a #DanceMoms reunion coming 2024 only on @Lifetimetv!!” the official Dance Moms X account (fka Twitter) announced.

The show, which ran eight seasons from 2011 to 2019 and featured 10 specials, focused on the training and careers of children in dance and show business under the show’s host and instructor Abby Lee Miller as well as the relationships between Miller, the dancers, and their often bickering mothers.

The cast of Seasons 1 through 7 included Maddie Ziegler, Chloe Lukasiak, Nia Frazier, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Vivi-Anne Stein, Kendall Vertes, Payton Ackerman, Asia Monet Ray, Kalani Hilliker, JoJo Siwa, Brynn Rumfallo, Elliana Walmsley, Lilliana Ketchman, Camryn Bridges, and Maesi Caes, as well as their mothers.

The Season 8 cast included Brady Farrar, Hannah Colin, GiaNina Paolantonio, Sarah Georgiana, Pressley Hosbach, Savannah Kristich, and Paris Moore, and their moms.

Miller left the reality show during the second half of Season 7 to serve her pending sentence for committing fraud. She returned in Season 8. It’s not known if she’ll participate in the reunion special. Lifetime parted ways with Miller in 2020 over allegations by former castmates that she had made racist remarks.

The show earned multiple Kids’ Choice Awards nominations and Teen Choice Awards noms over the course of its run. It won a Kids’ Choice Award in 2015 for Favorite Reality Show.
